2021 Season | Series #45 | Indians @ Twins | Sep. 14-15, 2021

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Nice to see the bats wake up even if it's against guys with a 6.72 ERA and guys who have pitched only one inning in the bigs this year.

Bradley and Reyes need to keep going oppo. Manning is right about that.

This game is a microcosm of why the Twins are in the cellar.. The Twins have too many Logan Allen moments in games where their opponents are hitting prodigous home runs with runners on.. while their hitters are piling up the strike outs in virtually every clutch situation.. This is a bad team..

BTW..whoever is on the hill when Miguel Sano comes to bat.. WALK HIM.. quit letting him best our guys..make someone else get the big hit..

This is a nice game to end the series on in preparation for the Wild Card Hunting Yankees this weekend in the Bronx.. Let's hope the Indians can ruin the NYY's chances for October baseball...

Tough season against the Twins but the Indians got the last laugh in the final game between the Indians and Twins.

Quantrill in the second half:

12 starts...75.1 IP...1.79 ERA

Bieber CY;

12 starts...77.1 IP...1.63 ERA

Bauer CY:

21 starts...73 IP...1.73 ERA

So we have 5 strong starters going into next year right? Quantrill and McKenzie are coming into their own to join Beiber, Civale and Pleasac right?

Morgan and a couple others will stick in AAA incase of injury, but we look like we have a great starting lineup? I know probably talked about, but i messed it....figured good night to talk about how strong Quantrill and McKenzie have been the last 6-8 weeks

It took TMac a while to get his command straightened out, but since the end of July he has made 7 starts for 46 innings with an ERA of 1.76.

That is a solid stretch though, that is about 5 or 6 weeks of starts

That is true enough. It's a small sample size for a SP.

But in TMacs case, its not that out of line with his track record thru his pro career.

The anomaly was the first part of this season, when he couldn't throw strikes...a problem that he has never had before.

This doesn't mean that I expect him to maintain a sub 2.00 ERA...but I do think what we are seeing is closer to what he really is then what he was when he couldn't throw strikes.
