Almost all of those trade proposals underestimate the value of Plesac.

Any major trade we make is going to make the 2022 team significantly better....not worse...not merely a wash.

We are past the point of stockpiling prospects.

I like the targets in most of those deals. My prediction is whatever teams don't make the playoffs should be hot to trot!

I like the Brewer targeted trade.. covers all three holes w/ Mitchell being ready in 2022 to compete at the outset / from spring training.. Adding a depth C who could replace the backstop let go/traded (Bebo or Hedgie) and a "ready now" LHRP in Antoine Kelly.. the club could be much better in 2022, let alone in the years following. If Kelly remains an SP..he would need all of 2022 to prepare..

The Brewers are in need of their fourth SP.. their top three are solid..

When trading Plesac started hitting the boards here after he hurt himself, I thought these pro trade people were nuts. I've changed my tune mainly because of people like Eli, Morris, Pilkington and Battenfield. Not to mention Espino, Logan T Cantillo and Johnson, and Curry. This team desparately needs upgrades at the corners or 2022 is going nowhere.

Garrett Mitchell is nowhere near MLB ready. Valera is closer, and a lot better.

We already have Feliciano in Lavastida.

This trade would be a give away of Plesac.

It would make our team much worse now...and in the future.

If we trade Plesac we are likely only getting one MLB player and prospects, so we are essentially swapping an SP for a Corner OF plus prospects...

Is that going to be enough to get us over the top?
