2021 Series #20 | Mariners @ Indians | June 11-13, 2021

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The only way this crappy game could have ended lol
I was there at it was a very boring game (unless you like walks) until the ninth inning rally. Amazing Tribe pulled it out but then again, Seattle did start 4 batters hitting below the Mendoza line.

Whoever paid to watch this trash in-person deserves a refund and an infinite supply of karma. What a frustrating snoozer.
That would be me for a birthday gift. It did suck until the end of course.

I paid and was rewarded. Going to the ninth, I said to Jr, just get me Bobby up as the tying run, and the day would be complete. When that happened, the roar from the crowd was incredible.

Cesar has been kind of a dumb player this year. WTF, he's a damn veteran. He should know better.
I agree with this 100%. CH is a shit base runner who has boneheaded many plays this year on the bases. When you are at second base, be aware of the surroundings dude. Know where the ss, the 2baseman is and where the outfield is playing. Amed's ball had base hit written all over it.

How does Harold get mobbed after that weak sauce dribbler?

Entered the park just when TMac was starting his first inning warm up pitches. Just like what he did during the game, he airmailed a fastball over the catcher's head. I don't think he threw one warm up pitch for a strike. I thought, ooh boy, this doesn't look good.

I've pushed against trading for a starter. I've changed my mind after today. There is just no excuse for a professional pitcher to pitch that bad.

He almost gave the game away. He swung at the first pitch, which was so far inside it almost hit him. That should have been a 1-2-3 double play which would have left us with two out and the game still tied. In a critical at-bat he showed zero plate discipline and just hacked at the first pitch he saw and should have killed the rally with one stupid and undisciplined swing. The horrible throw by the pitcher saved Harold's butt.

I'd like to thank the Mariners, who played some really stupid baseball. First they walked Zimmer and Naylor with two out in the 9th and leading by three runs. Then after Bradley's hit they threw three 94-96 fastballs to 37-year-old Rene Rivera, getting ahead 0-2. It was obvious he doesn't have the bat speed to square up that heat but they tried to get tricky and threw him an 86 mph slider. Thank you very much. Rene wasn't fooled and damn near hit it out.

I wouldn't be too hard on Cesar. If the M's made a diving catch and doubled him off he'd be the goat. If the ball drops he's on third with nobody out and Josie, Harold and Eddie coming up. That was a great piece of hitting by Amed.

Fantastic win, even though it was more of a give away by the M's than a win by the Tribe.

Maton's ERA is up to 6.46. He really is pretty bad and I don't expect him back next year. McKenzie threw 12 strikes out of 32 pitches. How does a guy go from setting a franchise record with eight consecutive strikeouts and then can't throw a strike the very next start?

Owen Miller struck out twice and ground out. He's down to .109. This has to be destroying his confidence. I don't get what they're doing with him. Now that they have Bradley just have Chang be the UIF and send Miller back down before his batting average dips below .100.

Let's get the sweep tomorrow with Bieber.

Problem is Tribe needs to find a #4 AND #5 starter.

It's getting to where they won't have a choice. Mejia didn't get out of the first inning of his last start and now McKenzie. Quantrill is getting lit up as a starter; opposing batters are hitting .375/.942 as a starter. They're pretty much out of options.

Well there’s always next year.
