With the fact we are a 4-2-5, we may keep 5 LBs and 5 Safeties depending on who wins out talent wise.

Also I am not going to rule out Hubbard just yet, it's possible he won't be able to start the season. I wouldn't be surprised for us to have Hubbard and Vernon on the 21 roster starting the season on PUP list. (If I was advising Vernon I'd just take a one year team friendly deal with the Browns so he could get healthy while playing for a good team and no pressure to get back right away).

No way we sign Vernon, sucks but he is out for the year and wont be signed by any team. I think Hubbard becomes guaranteed for most because of the injury. He is a UFA in 2022. I am not 100% sure about Hubbard, but i doubt he is healthy next year, dislocated knee and torn ligaments, takes 12 months to recover.

Well of course it depends on if they can play in 21 at some time. If they can, it's possible both are back in some capacity.... At the moment we still have Hubbard listed on the roster, so it feels like they think he could at some point. The injury report on Hubbard doesn't say what he all tore though so I cannot say what his timetable would be cause of it.

And I am glad I can dislocate my knee just because I want to at times.... I won't ever get an injury like that thankfully.

The only thing I see with that list is that I think there is a good chance they cut another linebacker for Gustin to make the team. With so many guys that can move inside, the Browns might see the need to keep 5 DEs and cut another linebacker.

Could be Smith, Takitaki, even Fields. Just because he was drafted doesn't mean he'll automatically make the team.

Some good players on that cut list.

Think we could get any late round picks for the possible guys we are cutting?

I wonder if they keep 6 wrs, given how much they go 2te or 2rb and Felton's ability to play in the slot. Wouldn't surprise me to see them keep 10 DL and 5 WRs

I agree, i dont see it being Fields. I think its very telling, and something i missed in the pre-draft that they selected 2 LB's like JOK and a poor man's JOK in fields.

I think this is the type of LB we want and takitaki is at a high risk of not making the squad.

I 100% agree though we might see an extra DL player kept, With Myles clearly 280lbs+ now, would love to see him play more interior line, especially on passing downs. Such a disruptor, and interior pressure kills plays.

We will cut players that we like for sure. Also, there are some good free agents still left, we might add a DT free agent still, and how about after cuts are made?

I think e will be shocked at a couple of the players we cut.

My only disagree might be that I’m not sure Weaver beats out a guy like Gustin; while Weaver is intriguing, this camp is massive for him because he hasn’t been evaluated against other NFL talent yet. That’s an underrated competition — rotational end.
