2022 Buckeyes Football

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Any NSD surprises for the Bucks? Admittedly, I haven't been following recruiting much this year.

Not really. Might lose Bonsu and the Lee kid to flips.

Other than that, they struck out on the big 3 d-line they were after. Picked up Mickens instead as a consolation (lol) but we’ve been sure of that for a while.

What’s the word on Bonsu? I’ve heard nothing? Also haven’t been able to pay attention today.

It’s been radio silence all day. No idea what’s taking so long. Pretty sure that’s all we know lol, have to imagine Miami is in his ear.

Given my expectations pre-game, despite how awful that ending was, have to feel more optimistic about Day and the program going into 2023. Knowles has a lot to figure out but clearly we can hang with the top programs still. We got blown off the field by Bama a couple years ago but hung with the champs tonight.

The plus side? Michigan got their ass beat, still hasn't won a playoff game, and gave the Big 12 their first playoff win (Oklahoma could NEVER).

I feel a little better too, but the defense is a trainwreck on the back end at least. We’ve had like… one acceptable level defense since 2017. Not good.

I think going forward Day needs to expand his rotations and usage of backups to keep guys fresh. I think it's alot on the WR to play the amount of snap counts they do. There really isn't a rotation other than Xavier Johnson coming in to play 15-20% of the snaps on offense. Also there isn't much relief from other positions because they didn't use two tight ends much or two RBs. Maryland game seem to be where they did go to more 2 TE sets.

I think one of the reasons the offense wears down as the game goes on is the WRs are being over used and don't have as much left when the 4th quarter comes.
