Think this has something to do with not meshing with Knowles? Or new schemes that Shaw didn't like?

Think it has much more to do with younger players being better.

Shaw only got snaps last season because Proctor got hurt. And he wasn't exactly great out there.

Not quite sure what exactly Knowles is gonna do with the secondary, but between Prostor and Hickman and McAllister, it’s potentially a crowded safety room before you start factoring in young guys.

Given that this news broke after a few weeks of spring practice, my guess is Shaw fell down the depth chart a bit.

He definitely can be a good player and had our defensive staff not been ass, he might’ve thrived here.

Looks like Ewers strategy of cashing in hasn’t had a chilling effect on our recruiting. Having the best WR room in the country every year is a blessing.

If Knowles can figure this thing out, we gotta win a national title.
