The FO appears to be looking for any opp to get Oscar out of the lineup and Brennan's hot bat is providing that.
More like the org is crammed with guys who can play a better defensive RF and there's a wide open spot at DH (at least for now). Depending on how the OF options perform compared to Oscar, he could easily go back there. It'll be fun to see how it all plays out over the next few years but I think the OF should not be much of a worry.

He's not going to be out of the lineup until he stops hitting.

We couldn't have asked for a better managed season, probably the best one in forever, and that's because it's all unexpected/exciting events taking place.
Biggest move was dumping Franmil. Biggest non-move was all the non-trades at the deadline.

Biggest big picture decision was to go with the kids - Kwan, Gonzalez, Gimenez, Karinchak, Hentges, Sandlin, and Stephan. They also gave Miller, Benson, Freeman, Arias, Brennan, Morris, and McCarty a look.

Goes without saying, but things really couldn't have gone any better this year.

It was supposed to be a year to let the kids play and figure out what they had, and here they are with the division locked up and a bunch of talented youngsters about to get a valuable taste of postseason experience.

I'm definitely biased, but Tito needs to be the front runner for AL Manager of the Year. Youngest team in baseball, one of the lowest payrolls, projected by basically everyone to finish no better than third in the division, and they're going to win the division by double digits.

This honestly might be the best season he's ever had from a managerial standpoint.

To me it's between him and the Orioles manager for 1-2 in the AL race for Manager of the year...

Just a reminder for all you people out there that are thinking, (but not saying), that all these rookies will underperform in the pressure of the playoffs,,,,,
In 2020 Randy Arozarena won MVP in the ALCS.
In 2021 Randy Arozarena won AL ROY.

A good portion of the season, they were under a lot of pressure, so I think they are more battle tested than normal for rookies...

Any good G’s podcasts out there? How is A to Z?
