2022 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
My mind keeps going to that final drive when we should’ve had em, but truly our defense is what let us down. They failed to come through against Michigan in the 2nd half and put up no resistance at the end of the playoff game. We did not have a championship level defense in the least but the fact that we were so close still is amazing. Was shocked CJ put up such a great game against that Georgia D.

This what-if will gnaw at me more than most of the others. Feels like the Indians in 2007 (only I’m not a kid now so my life doesn’t feel over).
That ALCS was my official transition into Randy Quaid from Major League. Now I'm more Bob Uecker.

This year will go down as one of the biggest missed opportunities for OSU. And they’ve had a few. Oof.

Onto 2023..

Yep. The Dawgs were there for the taking and they blew it. Plus, they would’ve had an easy game in the final due to TCUs fluke win over UM. It is a shame

Yeah, this has to be #1.

All the previous ones would have required beating at least one elite team to still get the Natty.

This was different though. After TCU beat Michigan, the winner of OSU/UGA was for the Natty. We had them on the ropes and just didn't make one more play or get one more call.

Fucking sucks.

Any idea of what it is about? Twitter giving dumb guesses. Only decent one was like, he logged in as someone else. Doesn’t exactly seem like a crime that warrants sending cops to his house.

I think the issue, from what I understand, is that he was breaking in to university email account(s), which makes the crime more serious under Michigan law.

It is not one of the more truly gross things, which everyone can fill in the blank there. Unclear what it was Weiss was doing but all I heard was it was not the more dark stuff and it wasn't an affair, etc. I guess we'll see in due time here.....but that is all I have heard.

Someone in the Michigan Football building filed a report, stating a person was accessing email accounts without their permission. That official report appears to have been filed with the University in early January.

Official log shows up in the Division of Public Safety:

Seems like a pretty weird story but I guess we'll see what comes of it.

Northwestern really doesn't want any more details on this to come out, it seems.
That is a shame. I had always thought he was a good coach and man. This investigation is making the culture look bad

From what I’ve read, it seems like it’s more of a Norrhwestern traditional thing, than a football/Fitzgerald thing. Shame, he’s a really good coach.

I mean he was there for what, 14 years? At that point you are the culture and the tradition. In that amount of time he should’ve known about it and done something about it within the program.
