2022 Game #8 | #2 Ohio State @ #13 Penn State | October 29th, 2022 @ 12:00 PM EST

Do you want him throwing to non-open guys by NFL standards? I don't understand. YOu throw to the open players.

If he's open "by NFL standards" then...isn't that what you want? A guy who can hit a guy who is only open by NFL standards?
Of course you take the easy throws. That’s not the issue. It wasn’t impressive by NFL standards. Waited for him to get open. And wide open he was

You just said he was open by NFL standards, which implies by college standards, he's not "wide open."

I'm confused.

Are you suggesting that by college standards that player was wide open and that's an easy throw?

Because I disagree. A great many college QBs can't make that throw that well.

ND took out Syracuse on the road today. Good news. Cuse game Clemson a run last week.

Misspoke. He was wide open, by nfl standards.

Holy shit, not a OSU fan, but that kid #44 has been amazing today. Just fill up his entire helmet with buckeyes after today, incredible

That's the best day I've ever seen from a defender at Ohio State.

Ok, just out of curiosity, what player have you ever seen have a better day at any collge or pros? lol

Maybe. And maybe Stroud doesn't have the cannon to throw guys open.

But I generally think he's just gonna find the open guy because he gets through the reads very quickly and accurately.

Like I said, more Peyton Manning than Josh Allen.

He's not gonna throw bullets into windows to guys who aren't really open. But he'll just find the open guy.

Now obviously, you need some good WRs who can actually win a matchup.

That said, I'll be interested how he tests out. I'm not sure if his arm is average or above average. I don't think I've seen a throw where I've said "His arm isn't top notch." I just also haven't seen him try to absolutely zip a bill into super tight coverage.

Damn they let them cover

I thought the defense pretty good today. Just one very bad play with poor tackling.

The rest of it though? Very good. One drive was only kept alive because of a special teams error. That's not on them.

It wasn't their absolute best, but this is also probably the most talented offensive unit they've played so far this year. And it was on the road.

Definitely better than last year, again specifically against the run. Much, much better against the run.

Not many qualms on the D today. Offense had massive playcalling issues

Lebron rooting for OSU. I love yall getting butthurt about it.
