Picking up a veteran C isn't that big of a challenge as noted by the Leon signing.........again. Adding depth is fine, but let's try to add depth that has some potential even if it's gone unrealized to this point.

I have a hunch he will have a career like Hedges... will be plus defensively but lack hitting. Isn't that what we need from a backup catcher?

I'd take him for 1 year, $5M. Give him a pillow contract to show he can hit without cheating. Think that sounds fair?
