Off the top of my head, these guys will likely be off the 40-man before the rule 5, I’d assume.
Depending on how Freeman does, that may be Miller or Rosario. If you have Benson/Jones learning 1B and have some form 2nd/SS as Gimenez, Freeman and Rosario/Miller (one of these last two become redundant).Add Franmil and that makes 10.
That would take the current 42 to 32.
Brennan, Naylor, Martinez, Curry, Hankins, Cantillo, Gaddis, Battenfield, Miko are fairly likely to be picked if left exposed because they could respectfully hold down a MLB spot now imo. Not really worried about the Gabby Rodriguez or Planez types at A ball. So really just need to clear one spot I think.
I kinda like Miller off the bench. Kinda serviceable but can possibly be cut if need be. You need a few guys like that.Depending on how Freeman does, that may be Miller or Rosario. If you have Benson/Jones learning 1B and have some form 2nd/SS as Gimenez, Freeman and Rosario/Miller (one of these last two become redundant).
Seeing who they have protected over the last few years, when it comes to utilities players, I be surprised if Owen is not protected, as he is Better then most of them……
Who’s to say Freeman is better then Clement when it comes to his bat, hopefully we will find out, but he’s definitely no for sure thing…I’m glad the front office is finding out, …….But Miller is find for his role, I think he playing more because of Naylor injuries and Reyes ineffectivenessYeah ... but at this point, Freeman is utility ... especially if Rocchio is as almost good as Lindor and SS of future with Arias/Tena and Martinez close behind with Gimenez at 2nd. Reason he is starting 3B today (and last night before being rushed up)
I'll say it.Who’s to say Freeman is better then Clement when it comes to his bat
I’m with you I hope so……I'll say it.
With Freeman now in Cleveland, how soon will Rocchio be in Columbus?
He now has 568 PAs in Akron, the equivalent to a full season, and he has raked...
A wRC+ of about 127...18 HR...55 XBH.
