As the announcers pointed out - the G's are 0-14 (or something like that) in games where they get 0 or 1 hit with RISP. When they get two or more hits with RISP they're something like 16-6.

Not to mention when you are "scouting" the Guardians he probably gets a lot of dissection. Revising his "book" is probably a priority of our opposing teams and it wouldn't surprise me at all if teams have figured out how to attack him for a minute... He'll adjust and then they will... Over and over.

It's a shame we can count on protecting/helping him in the lineup consistently.

I've seen enough. An OF of Kwan and Straw needs a power bat in RF.

So let the kids play and give O-Gon a ring and see if he can apply pressure to Valera/front office.
