2022 Season | Series #18 | Rangers @ Guardians | June 6-8, 2022

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Team is looking pretty good.... Running a little lean but lots of room to grow.. Can't say for sure, but we may have some home cookin' here.

That certainly was a BOMB.

But why is San Diego’s High-A affiliate in Fort Wayne, and why is their nickname the TinCaps? I thought Johnny Appleseed belongs to Ohio! Are they trying to STEAL him?

No clue, but that is a nice minor league stadium...

Interesting, so Tito rallies up the grounds crew to roll the tarp out. You'd think he'd wanna squeeze out the inning.

Managers are in charge of risking injury to players...

Always thought the homeplate ump calls the delay and major league baseball tells you we're done for the night
No, you were right originally. Once the game starts (commences), it’s up to the umpires/MLB. Home team decides before the game starts if they should be delayed.

In the Twins-Yankees game, Aaron Hicks tops a ball at the plate and as it bounces down the third baseline, the cover begins to come off...lol.

Urshela had no play, and when he picked up the ball, looked at it, and tugged at the flap.

Just get some sticky electrical tape, and tape that sucker up. It's good for another week of baseball.
A continuation...

(May as well put it here)

As kids, my brother and I always got a real baseball in our Easter baskets, so we started every year with two good baseballs. We spent a lot of time looking for them whenever somebody hit one into the woods in right field.

Those balls got beat up, and when they began falling apart, we wrapped them in sticky electrical tape. Couldn't see them to well when it began to get dark...lol.

Our only other option was to buy a new one, but the only ones we could afford were stuffed with sawdust. (Really) They cost a quarter and became lopsided after a few at bats.

Phil Niekro's knuckleball had nothing on a pitch thrown with a lopsided sawdust baseball.

Imagine how many more games we'd have to make up right now if we played more at home to start the season... lol

Imagine how many less wouldn't be postponed under a roof.

Kwan has been playing better lately and returns to the top 3rd of the order. Lets hope he sticks/excels this time.

Gimenez in the 7th hole.. Maybe too low but batting after OGonz and Miller - he could end up feasting..
