2022 Season | Series #23 | Red Sox @ Guardians | June 24-26

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Column heads were cut off but I think you can figure most of them.

Honestly, I can't lol. I hate numbers and my brain doesn't memorize the state line outside of Avg/OBP lol.

It's not a big deal....I know we suck lol JK.

Yea, a simple header would suffice lol. I need to be able to tell how bad we suck! :chuckle:

just use fangraphs lol My guess though is the fact they wanted to show just how low JRam and Kwan's SO rate was... Its actually a very good thing...

If ya remind me tomorrow I can fix it, but I am currently ready to sleep lol

I'm not letting a 4 game dewp skid let me get down on the Tribe!

In all seriousness, some guys are playing well, and some not so well. It sure would be fun to sneak into the playoffs.

Yes, Jose had three hits, which is really encouraging, and from both sides of the plate. Franmil went 6-for-20 against the Red Sox for a .300 BA. No home runs but it's a start. Gimenez had two hits and a walk today and is up to .318 on the season.

Unfortunately, with a lefty starting for Boston the bottom third of the order was Clement, Maile, and Straw. They went 1-for-12 with 8 LOB.

If the G's can get Jose and Franmil hitting to go along with Kwan, Rosario, and Gimenez they have a chance to score some runs. When neither Jose or Franmil is hitting there just aren't enough good hitters left to score much against good pitching.

Oscar is 1-for-13 in his last four games and that was a single.

Bradley was supposed to be the 1B but he flopped... Noel is getting his 1st taste of AA.... Miller normally does better at 1B and Naylor isnt any better...

I do think we will see some changes here soon, personally...
Naylor would have snagged both the throws that Miller missed today.

What we saw this series was pretty much the offense that was predicted before the season began. We are particularly bad against LH pitching, because our RH hitters kind of suck as a group a lot more than our LH hitters do. I'd love to see some moves made to strengthen that aspect of the lineup.

But here we are sitting above .500 this deep into the season, in contention for first place in our division. the team will bounce back. And maybe they'll learn to compete against the top teams in the league. Yesterday we had Jose at the plate with a chance to win the game of I remember correctly. His hand injuries screwed us because we rely on him so heavily, but today it looked like he's finally starting to get healed and dialed back in.

I'm still having a blast watching the Guardians this year even though it sucks to lose a series to the Red Sox.

If somebody told me two weeks ago that we'd win 1 of 3 in LA vs Dodgers and then win 2 of 3 each vs COL, Min and BOS, I would have rushed to sign. The record is the same. Got lucky on a couple games earlier and unlucky (and incompetent) on two of the past 4.

The last game vs Minnesota still bugs me most, they rolled over dead and we tripped over them.

This year is all about being in it till the end, playing meaningful games down the stretch. Any kind of postseason berth would be the cherry on top as a taste to keep this young group hungry for more.
