This is one of the guys flying under the radar.. he has a LOT of swing and miss.. especially when he's getting his changeup over the plate and down. He couples that with a fastball from the same tunnel.. and hitters can't figure out which is which... It's a dynamic combination.. Oh.. he also throws in a curve & slider.. both effective.. but nothing like the FB/CH.. We'll see.. The good news.. the Astros haven't.. at least not yet..
Post did not age well.

I quit watching it. We just don't have the offense to make that comeback. I see some potential in Gaddis, but he has to locate his pitches better. That changeup is filthy and he has a nice slider too, but you gotta put in the right spot. Especially to a team like this. If we can somehow get a wildcard or pull off this shitty division, the playoffs will be a good experience for these youngsters, but they ain't bangin with the Houstons, NYs or Torontos. Just ain't gonna happen this year.

So far, this series is making the dormant deadline seem wise. Maybe they get a wildcard or eek out the division, but there’s no way this team was going to compete in the playoffs.
Literally posted mine and seen yours. Great minds right?

Swindell only gave up 4 earned runs in 3.2 innings in his infamous debut
I was at that game! Who gave up all those runs anyway?
I think I remember Tony Armas hitting 2 dingers.
I definitely remember Roger Clemens blowing us away...

(And it was Oil Can Boyd, not Clemens. Memory is a funny thing when you're old.)

Myles Straw about to bring the Gs right back into this with a jack. I can feel it.

Straw with a booming two-bagger, we did it to Seattle 21 years ago!
