Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Gimenez, NoJo, Benson all on the bench today vs RHP

Miller, Freeman, Straw, O. Gonzalez in. I don't get it

Edit: Oh, and let the Alex Call watch begin: batting leadoff today vs Blake Snell (he's only facing FOR, lol)
I think Gimenez deserves a shot to play regardless of LHP or RHP.

Gausman has a dirty splitter that plays really well against lefties. I don't mind the righty heavy lineup here because he can be thought of as a lefty in essence, and guys like Gimenez have to get days off eventually.

I'm pretty positive the ball is going to Pilkington since his last start was on the 10th and the double header is on the 15th is it not? Gaddis pitched on the 12th. Curry did pitch on the 9th, but he isnt on the 40 man and I think they wanna leave that last spot semi-open/someone they can DFA cause of Morris' return soon...

Edit: It could even go to Morris...
I was thinking Morris also, but because of Civale being on a pitch count along with Morris, that could tax’s the bullpen, Doesn’t matter anyway Morris is listed as the starter today in Columbus……Let’s see if Curry Piggyback today, if not….Hmmmm

I don't think he's being benched because he bats left-handed. I just think it's a day off.
I look at it this way... Either Gimenez sits today (for the day off) or he sits for 1 of the games on Monday since its a doubleheader...
Giving him the day off now means 1 less guy to juggle tomorrow. Hence I am all right with Gimenez sitting now (& being available as as late sub if necessary)

Gimenez pick and throw to nail the runner at the plate should be in the running for a top play of the yr.

Rosario gives us the early lead. Hope Biebs is sharp, and we can hold on to it.
