So please explain how Bradish was able to outpitch former Cy Young winner Bieber?
Bradish: throw ball.. swing and miss..
Bieber: throw ball.. swing and hit three homers..

simple is the most likely explanation.. but you already know that..

Man, the wolves have turned on each other around here. The pack is in disarray. lol

I don't have much to say really. We just lost a series to a team that appears to just be better at the moment, especially offensively. Alas, the sky is not falling and the division can still be won with a good ending to the season. The problem right now is that they don't look to be having a good ending to the season, but there is time left to get right.

I will say that I don't really get all the bitching and moaning about Tito. We're seeing Benson in CF more. Much more actually. Maile is catching more often. I mean what do you want the guy to do? He has to work with what he's got and this team is leading the division at the moment. I think he's done a pretty fucking good job tbh.

Still not convinced this old school approach to hitting is going to be effective. They need some punch and I believe it's coming so I'll just chill until it does.

Just play better baseball starting today.

Bimbo can say what he wants, former ball player Jenson Lewis even mentioned the bats feeling the pressure and getting tight every AB with it weighing on their mind. Everything is getting magnified around this time and ball players in a pennant race senses it.

Also, someone tell Amed to stop swinging at 0-2 chase pitches in the other box.

They’re toast.

Minny will take the division. Guardians should be in the 90-92 win range next year.

This team has done this multiple times over the season, a season which seems to go in patterns of offensive performance, and all of a sudden they are "choking under playoff race pressure". :chuckle:

Give me a break. This is what happens when your offense doesn't hit a lot of home runs or draw a ton of walks and relies on balls put in play finding holes or grass. The hits go away and runs are hard to find or string together.

It won't last though. Just like it hasn't lasted any of the previous 5 or 6 times they've had stretches like this earlier in the season.

Some of you have the attention span of a gnat. Either that or you get off on bad, reactionary takes (highly likely).
This is pretty much my opinion. I judge Tito and the front office based on a longer sample size and it's futile to get caught up in moment to moment results in a streaky sport like baseball. Every player goes through times where they're seeing things better or worse, things slow down and they play really well for awhile, or things speed up and they play worse for awhile. Longer trends and sample sizes are the better way to gauge what's going on, reactionary knee jerk judgements are bullshit.

So me being a boomer, am I out of my lane? I wouldn't want to break any stereotypes here.

I really think most of the "boomer" attitude is just cathartic venting which comes with the territory of any sports team that has its ups and downs, which as far as I know, is all sports teams. Without it, things would be a lot more boring honestly.

Stereotypes are always bad.
