Do Not Sell My Personal Information
See Aaron Judge.
For every Aaron Judge there's a ton of busts. And the list of players with or even near Aaron Judge god power is extremely limited and does not include anyone in our organization. Noel's the closest but I don't think anyone thinks he is Judge-level with the power.

Of course there are tons of baseball busts, he was asking why there is a "love affair" and the existence of players like Judge fuel that IMO.. Guys who strike out a ton and take a lot of walks aren't my cup of tea for the most part but there seems to be more and more of them, could be wrong.

Noel is mighty powerful IMO - but Judge is in his own hemisphere.

Keep an eye on that rookie from Minnesota Matt Wallner - strikes out a scary amount, but also started taking some walks (MILB #s) and hits it over the fence. Our own Will Benson is in this camp somewhere IMO. Will we see more folks who strike out 150+ times a year but hit/walk enough to mitigate it?

Yeah I guess what I'm saying is without the god power that profile isn't all that successful, although we might see more success out of the dead-pull power hitters with the removal of the shift. That profile may have peaked a while back, because pitching has gotten so good that you almost have to have a solid contact tool to have a chance. If you're striking out 25% of the time against AA/AAA competition there's probably a reason and major leaguers will hone in on that and make sure that not only do you hit the ball less often but also softer.

It'll be interesting to see what a guy like Oneil Cruz does in the bigs - not a great hitter but fairly selective with god power. Had 14/22 BB/K% in AAA which is nothing to laugh at, so far is at 7/37...

Aaron Judge...lol.

A once in an era power bat.

For every Aaron Judge, there are 50 Bradley Zimmers...and it seems that most of them have come thru our system.

I know it’s cold with rain in the forecast, but would love to see 25K plus tonight,
