No. He is too reliant on the strikeout over getting guys out and gets wild because of it. He is basically the pitching version of the high strikeout no walk hitter who is always going for the long ball (eg.Reyes) They just scare you against good competition.

This KC lineup is going to be annoying for years to come. Their pitching, not so much although they've tried to load up the system...

Karinchak drives me nuts, but I'm glad we have him for the post season.
Gives up too many walks, but thats part of his game.
Ks over 14 per nine.....batters are hitting .147 against him.
Going into today he had given up 19 hits all season.
