Shame to burn Stephan for a 7-run lead in the 9th. But tomorrow’s a travel day so have to accept it as necessary. BTW, Nick Allen of As looks all of 16 tears old.

The G's really needed this sweep to get back on track after seven straight losses. Good job all around except for Civale. Great to see Franmil break the 0-for-26 streak with a two-run single, but you can't overlook the three K's and the GIDP.

McKenzie was outstanding, albeit against a very weak offense. I wonder how last year's A's would have fared.

Stephan is up to 10.2 innings without allowing an earned run. Pretty impressive. Whoever pounded the table to take him in Rule 5 deserves a bonus.

Now that the bats woke up let's keep them going.

Civale is as broken as Reyes right now. I know Bimbo said he was working on some things this spring but at what point should we become concerned?
