I’m sure he was really hurt. It was listed as a rib contusion which he supposedly got from an elbow. I’m not sure how his desire to play or injury could be questioned since he hadn’t missed a single game since the 5th game of the season.

Aren't we all glad we're going to Orlando up 3-2 rather than down 2-3? Me too. My prediction for game 6:

Game 6, If 3-2 chance of victory 49%, Cavs 119-116

So I think if we win, it'll be close. I expect some throat problems from Orlando if the game is close in the 4th quarter. Even Banchero started missing at the end of the 4th in game 5, although that might have been tiredness too.

If we lose, looking to game 7:

Game 7, 53% chance of victory 119-114

I've not got any information but my brother once had a contusion of his ribs so bad that the blood from the bruise locked his ribs together on one side and he found breathing and twisting very painful. If Allen had something like that I could see him being unable to play

Who knows? It was a game time decision. Given that it was a game time decision. I’d fully expect him to be back in the starting lineup. However, the Cavs haven’t exactly been forthcoming with injury news this season, so you never know. I suppose it could be something worse like a fractured rib. Like you initially said, we’ll see Friday

It was few years back when he broke his finger and was laid up for 6 weeks while we fell from 2nd to the play-in. I remember thinking what a pussy tape it up and go.
