I believe it's worth noting Cooper had by far his highest total of drops last season. He has a history of very few drops in Oakland and Dallas. Hopefully that is an anomaly going forward.

hard to judge drops because the more targeted a WR, the more “drops” they’ll be credited with.

Drop % is a better stat imo.

Just discussing the topic at hand.

More importantly, I'm glad Walker is returning. He and JOK were both rated as dark green/very good until Walker's injury. The complete lack of interior line presence allowed offensive linemen to attack the linebackers unimpeded, and the injuries took a toll. Dalvin Tomlinson should clean that up.

I still hope they can get through the opening of the season with all these recovering linebackers.

If it is the Jets, hopefully it increases the odds they trade Elijah Moore

Edit: ok he corrected it

I think Mecole to NYJ will impact where OBJ goes.

Take one: Hardman going to Jets meaning Browns had their eyes elsewhere..

Take two: Jets have too many WRs — Corey Davis and/or Elijah Moore will be moved..

Take three: The timing of the Jeudy news and Hardman signing, makes me think Browns will be making a move here sooner rather than later.. although, I don’t think they were ever going to pay about ~$5M AAV for any FA WR..

It certainly feels like all the Browns eggs are currently in the Jeudy basket.

Goodwin perhaps on hold until they figure out what's happening with Denver?

If we end up with Jeudy that's going to be insanely exciting for this offense. I'm low-key drooling at the thought of him and Cooper as a 1A-1B pairing with the rest of our weapons.

Watson would have everything needed at his disposal for a Super Bowl level offense.
