Here's Hoopshype top 50 list. There are some sneaky good names here outside of the top 25.

My favorites are Bruce Brown, Naz Reid, Richards, and Craig. I think they overrate Watanabe's defense, but I'd have some interest in him as well.

Torrey Craig is what he is at age 32, but he plays hard on both ends of the floor. The defensive role player has quietly become a knockdown three point shooter at 39.4% this year.

I expect the Cavs to pursue Gary Trent Jr. His length isn't ideal but has starting level 3 and D ability, incredible as a movent shooter. He's from Ohio and entering unrestricted free agency.

29 year old Georges Niang is underrated here, IMHO. The guy made 117 threes this year at a 41.2% clip. That's a clear spacer role for a contender.

its kinda sad to see KP behind Grant...that might be accurate too

GTJ is going to cost more than the Cavs have in terms of available cap space, the Raptors actually benched him earlier this year because he wasn't shooting well, and I can't see the Raptors engaging in a double S&T for LeVert. Also, we have Mitchell so the added value from GTJ isn't going to be anywhere near the $15-20M extra it will cost the Cavs if guys like Craig and Brown can be signed around the MLE. If, after we've signed other guys with the MLE and BAE, the Raptors approach us about a double S&T involving LeVert and GTJ, I'd consider it, but that seems like a real longshot.

I've started to be intrigued by Georges Niang sans Kevin Love and Dean Wade..

Niang last four years--

3P%: 41%, 40%, 42.5%, 40%
corner 3s: 56.4%, 39%, 41.9%, 45.8%
C&S 3s: 42.5%, 40.1%, 44.4%, 40.3%

Niang & Embiid have a +10.3 NET rating and Niang & Harden have a +13.7 NET rating -- imagine he'd be able to be pretty productive next to Mobley and Garland on the second unit..

Granted Niang doesn't rebound well, isn't incredibly mobile and is so-so on defense, I still really like the pairing off the bench and his elite shooting numbers..

Will be curious to see what contract he gets this offseason but he fits the profile of a guy who would fit in well..

Niang is interesting as a 3nD 4. He played some 3 when he was with Utah next to Gobert a few years ago, but I dont think he has the footspeed for that anymore outside of a zone. I would be very surprised if Morey lets him go so easily. He is a great fit next to Harden, Maxey, and Embiid as a low usage floor spacer and neutral defender.

Except hes pretty bad at defense...

Kevin Porter Jr. might be available this summer. His contract is non-guaranteed. I'm not sure it's possible with our management, but he'd certainly be an awesome addition. The talent he has is undeniable, I just wonder if he burned all the bridges in Cleveland.

Every possible bridge has been burned.
Every tunnel collapsed.
All ferrys have permanently sat on their hands.

I was the biggest KPJ fan while he was with the Cavaliers...then we got Evan Mobley and I want nothing to do with KPJ anymore. KPJ was kicked off the USC team, in part, because of how he behaved toward Evans dad. Its been made clear that the Mobley family are not fans of KPJ. KPJ will not be a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers for as long as Evan Mobley is...which is, hopefully, his entire career.

This is not even a joke, but every single member of this board would have a better shot at playing for the Cavs than KPJ would. The Mobley reason, the punching the GM reason, so, so, so many reasons.

I'm not sure short middle-aged Jewish dudes sign any contracts in the NBA, outside of as agents, but I get your drift...
