Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm not entirely sure the Lakers pick up the guarantee on MO Bamba's contract. If we're telling ourselves we can coach up young and dumb, he should be the target.
we have an affinity for tall skinny guys from Texas

I wouldn't do it. Mitchell is our go to guy on offense. Mikal is a huge downgrade on that end. I like his defense, but that funky looking shot scares me.

If it were Bridges & 4 first rounders, I'd consider it, but still would be hesitant.

As a matter of fact, I still wouldn't do it with the 4 first rounders. We're not a rebuilding team.
Bridges would be a perfect fit here. I'd do it for Bridges and 2 firsts

I don’t think Spida makes the list of players BKN would attach picks to as part of a Bridges trade (even though I would).

I don't know why we're talking about this lol. Beyond the fact that we're not trading Mitchell this year, why would BKN trade their best player and picks for Mitchell just to be left with him and a bunch of nothing?

Mitchell is primetime in New York especially since he grew up there. Brooklyn can surround him with shooters and length unlike the cavs. He is also a better offensive talent than Bridges.

Dinwiddie/Mitchell/Johnson/Oneale/Claxton is a playoff contender in the east.

They also have a ton of picks at their disposal. They dont even have to send their own to the cavs.

Pretty sure Rockets control Nets picks through 2025 because of the Harden trade.

I think Wantanabe is worth pursuing. Haven’t seen a ton of him, but is taller and smarter than Cedi, and a better 3pt shooter. Probably not good enough defensively to start for us, but I’m sure he can’t be any worse than Cedi in that category as well.

How much will Jerami Grant be asking for? He would be ideal at SF. A vet, true SF size, can shoot/score, and rebound.

Seth Curry, Josh Richardson, Malik Beasley, and Alec Burks are guys we should be looking to fill the bench with. All of them can shoot 3s.

Probably $20M or more to chuck shots on a bad team. I don’t think he wants to be a 3&D guy on a good team or a potential 4th option.

Denver was willing to match the contract Detroit gave him, but he wanted to be a 20ppg scorer and primary option so he left. Unless he had a change of heart, we can’t afford him.

OG Anunoby linked to GS

Two things make some sense to me:

If FVV and/or Trent opt-out, Poole makes sense.

That being said, Wiggins missed 25 games because his father has a serious health condition. He's from Toronto, so I wouldn't be shocked to see GSW trade him to the Raptors as a gesture of good faith. He's signed to a good long-term deal and Toronto loves to bring the fellow Canadiens home when they can. I think they tried to trade for him when he was in Minny.

OG for Wiggins saves them money on the tax, and they could opt to expand the deal if they chose.

Poole for OG gives GS some nice options. They could even go Curry, OG, Wiggins, Draymond, and Looney. Bring Klay off the bench.

Go small with Curry, Klay, OG, Wiggins, Draymond.

Go out and get some more veteran bench shooters or true point guards via Kuminga. Or a stretch big like Bamba they could rehabilitate.

That's at least one more run for their big 3.

If it’s Poole they’re trading, I’d offer Poole & Moody for OG & Trent. Can probably talk Trent into picking up the PO for a run with the Warriors. Perfect Warriors type of player.
