Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Anfernee Simons is better than Poole and is owed less money. If I'm Toronto and want a smaller scoring guard to pair with Barnes I would go after Simons before Poole.

The Wiggins thing with his dad still seems like the most realistic option.

Something like Wiggins and Moody for OG, Porter, and Boucher? I don’t know. It’s hard to tell what Toronto is going to do. If they’re also potentially flipping Siakam in another trade then that’d change my opinion on them what they might want

We're forgetting what Masai already turned down for OG if we think *just* Poole, or Wiggins, or Simons is gonna get.

Things change. He turned down those offers when he thought OG was a core piece and they might be able to compete with him. This past season showed their experiment of playing all 6’7”+ guys that basically do the same thing isn’t going to work. If they’re focus is more to rebuild around Barnes, the pieces required and cost to gain OG likely changed.

If he’s being traded to GSW, salary wise Poole, Wiggins, or I guess Draymond are the ones that work. You can add picks if you want. The only other thing I see that works salary wise is Moody, Kuminga, GPII.

They probably need a third team involved to get OG to GSW.

Masai turned down *multiple* FRPs for OG in February 2023. Right around 100 days ago...

And? “Multiple” FRP’s is likely the Knicks trying to trade those shitty heavily protected 1sts they have. 100 days ago the Raptors had hope of making the playoffs. Between now and then their season took a nose dive and they fired their coach. A lot of things can change in 100 days in the NBA.

Were Donovan Mitchell and Gobert even considered to on the block 100 days prior to being traded? I believe the playoffs wouldn’t have even started at that point, Quinn Snyder was their coach, and they were still hoping to get past the second round.

The Knicks were one of the teams, sure. The Grizzlies, Pelicans, Nets, Warriors and Pistons were among the others.

Donovan was rumored to be traded for several months before he made it to the Cavaliers. From the trade deadline until September is more than 100 days. I havent paid attention to Rudy Gobert rumors, but a quick Google search mentions him as available as early as the Covid incidents, and it growing as him and Don were rumored to not like each other.
