Its a specious argument, because too many of the Twins and Chisox have been unable to stay healthy.

There is almost no way that Buxton, Robert, or Jimenez will play 140 games.

In all honesty the Twins have taken steps to keep Buxton in the lineup. In fact, their back up CFer is better than our starting CFer. They C is better than our C. Their SS is better than ours and they have plenty of depth to give Correa a regular day off his feet. When Lewis returns they’ll be even better. Look, I’m rooting for my Guardians to win it again, but to deny that the Twins improved their roster over the winter is pure silliness.

The White Sox roster is loaded. If they stay healthy they should be favored.

You are over rating the other two teams... They aren't going to be as good as you are thinking. Plus tell me where on Cleveland outside of C has a possible negative WAR player... Even our bench won't have a negative WAR player on paper...

No I'm not and most national pundits agree. Why don't you go down the list position by position and get back to me. If they stay healthy and we play the season out with our current roster then we'll be looking up at both if they stay healthy.

Where does either of the other 2 teams have negative WAR and if they do was it due to injury? Their rosters are loaded with talent and the only question is if they can remain healthy enough.

The national media last season had Cleveland as one of the worst teams in baseball...

The WSox have some impressive individual talent but last year they were fundamentally unsound—couldn’t get on base or catch a baseball. That’s what needs to change.
