I think his skill is not overhyped at all. I am worried he'll never gain any weight or his frame just won't hold up to the pounding. I hope I'm wrong bc he does look skill wise he could be a 1 in 30 year type player.
 
Pretty good chance Wemby isn’t in the NBA in 8-10 years.

I hope Pop maximizes him.
 
 
I'd be surprised if we drafted Bates; his personality profile doesn't seem to fit.

His people are really into making sure he puts on weight slowly and the right way. They don't want to overload his frame too quickly. He has a trainer that goes with him and helps him stretch basically everything.
 
The Spurs were one of the few teams I trusted to get this right. They are a PG away from having a nice squad.
 
I am happy for the spurs. Although I just went to San Antonio for the first time a few months ago and was shocked that the arena is basically around nothing and not in the middle of the city.

Also felt like the river walk was more of a gigantic tourist trap . Maybe my expectations were too high. Maybe it’s a cool place to live , I don’t know…

It’s basically a gas stop between Austin and LA

Although, personally the only time I ever drove through San Antonio was to get gas on the way back from Austin

I’m sure it’s lovely though and HEB is a pretty cool grocery company/store.

I am not a huge fan of Texas as a whole . It’s like Florida without the coast to me . Austin is cool for a weekend , Houston is a diverse city but too spread out.

I just thought there would be more to San Antonio…. It was one of the few cities I had never been to that is well known in America . It was under welming

Anyone been watching this Draft Combine the last couple of days?
 
Anyone know whats going on with Bobi Klintman? Dude supposedly said he wasn't going back to college, but also withdrew from the draft combine. He's absolutely a guy I'd have interest in, but he's got to have a promise from someone or a plan to go overseas.

Rumor is he has a promise from somebody. I'm guessing someone late round 1. Wouldn't make sense for him to otherwise drop out of the combine and stay in the draft.

Not even a second, but I would welcome some highlights you have noticed. Life is getting in the way of my sports time unfortunately, but its ok, not all bad things like my daughter home for the last time from college (next summer she will stay and work in a lab she just got recruited to) and as you know, I love my daughter even more than any sports franchise including the Cavs, lol

Saw quite a bit but came away drooling over this 20yr old kid from Belgrade... a mix of Lauri and MJP. Shades of healthy Porzingis with more limited ability with ball and putting the ball on the floor but potentially better jumper. Not a twig at all, though offering no defense and very limited mobility.

But look at his touch...


Just watching his presence on the floor and how he stood out as a floor spacer without fear amongst a bunch of 6'3-6'5 non-shooters... he's the kid I'd focus my resources on researching the most post combine
