2023 Season | Series #16 | White Sox @ Guardians | May 22-24, 2023

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Guards have dug a helluva hole. Lost 11 of 14 series. Even if they win 2 of 3 for the next seven 3-game series and split 4 with the Twins, that would be a 37-37 record by June 23rd. Long road. Tito's acumen to get a season turned around will be tested like never before in his tenure. Much was expected this season. Yes, the rotation has been a bit of a mess injury-wise, but compared to other teams, not a lot of major issues with the every day lineup. Just massive underperformance across the board. I'm all for seeing the youth, but the reality is, if 2023 is to be a winning season, it starts with JRam, Naylor, Bell, Gime, Kwan playing closer to their expectations.

I'm perfectly fine with going for a 'high average/OBP over power' approach but there aren't any guys on this team actually hitting for a high average. Just guys who can't hit.

Not to beat a dead horse, but we are getting close to needing a "full turnaround" or it's over.

We are in a terrible division and at this rate I would assume it may even reach historical significance.

Fuck I am not ruling out the Royals making a run at this point.

Tito has to go

I'm just glad I missed this game.

For how this team wants to play, they just aren't patient enough at the plate and swing at too much crap ahead in the count. Only 1 walk and 12 Ks is awful. Gotta take more walks and swing less. They dont have the players that fit their style...well, Tyler Freeman is a low SwStr% guy, but Amed "wheel of fortune" Rosario is too good to sit

Tito has to go
I mean health wise with as many surgeries he has had the last 4 years. 162 nights at a ballpark plus spring training for a total of 8 months is probably not what is best for him .

Final score for the three games: White Sox 11, Guardians 4. What's going to happen when we start playing the good teams like Tampa, Texas, Baltimore, Houston, Atlanta, the Dodgers, etc?
