2024-2025 Buckeye Basketball

Good start early in the opener against #19 Texas

It's one game but this easily looks like the best bball team we've had in years.

Fun game. Nice transfer bigs from Duke and Kentucky. And if the Mobley kid (no, not THAT one) can play like he showed....holy shite...Dame Lillard range...literally. (He hit back to back 3s from between half court and the 3pt line.)
I also was shocked with the early pace and defensive intensity. Jake Diebler loves Ohio State and is gonna be a good coach. Wish Okpara would've stayed...he was starting to round into a productive college big.

Team should be better than what they showed against Maryland. Felt like they should have entered that game with 1 loss, but now it's 3 and that was a terrible effort.

Yeah, that was a pathetic display.

Early adversity for Diebler.

Two 30+ point losses in 3 games coming up here.

I understand Auburn is a good team, but...come on now.

You guys know I HATE the old "just hire the interim before interviewing anyone else" routine. It's the easy, lazy, and generally cheap route to take. I really hope this works out because I like Diebler. But this is a rough start to the tenure.

OSU just smoked the #4 team in the country UK. Boom!

Yeah was not close. Defense was key, I think they held Ky scoreless for long stretches, 4 minutes, 2 minutes several times.. who knew?

It's a bit unfortunate that they are very close to having a good season but instead it's went the other way one too many times and it's a bad one.

They've got the talent to turn these close losses into wins in the 2nd half of the season and make a run at the tourney.

Needed that win. Think that pretty much seals their fate as a non-tourney team outside of an insane run to end the season.

They were really close to being good this year. Promising for next year.

But can't miss the tourney again.

This is a very. Bad team.
