2024-25 Playoffs | Indiana Series | Game #1 | Pacers @ Cavs | May 4, 2025 | 6:00 p.m. | TNT

This game was decided by the three. They shot lights out and the Cavs were abysmal (which is also concerning).
If the teams come back to their season norms the Cavs will prevail. I’m hoping the Pacers shot their load.

Post game sentiment is that we need to match their physicality. Not exactly sure what they were expecting, everyone knows that’s how you beat this team. It shouldn’t take someone bodying you in order to respond. It’s the second round of the playoffs, everyone is physical. Hopefully we can chalk it up to a bit of rust, but time to man up guys . . .
The bad thing is they don’t respond. I’ve never seen Mobley or Allen foul anyone hard while Indiana was pushing our players in mid air

Guess I'm glad I was on the road and had to miss this one.

Cavs just missed another 3...

This is absurd...

That was a stinker for sure but thinking the Cavs can't, or won't win at least a game or two on the road is not being realistic. Let's GO!

Someone alluded to this earlier but I would be tempted to go under screens and let their ball handlers take their threes off the dribble. That is entirely different than them shooting of spot ups.

Wide open prayer shots lmao
Nah, the last two 3s that halted the Cavs’ run (after the bullshit no call on Hunter), were the Haliburton step back over Allen (which was a nice move, but still a tough shot), and the Nembhard step back from like 26 feet, which was absolutely a prayer shot.

Honestly I don't know why the plan against the Pacers isn't to just turn Haliburton into a drive and finish player.

He 100% wants to kick it out when he gets into the paint.

He's not a strong finisher.

Stop crashing down to help.

I'd keep switching onto him. Make him a 1on1 scorer. That's not what he wants to be.

Real Deals claim is that they were hitting “prayer shots” all game which is obviously absurd. It’s not lucky for players to hit wide open shots consistently…That doesn’t mean they had zero contested makes

Only lucky when it’s Okoro making them
