And the way he takes contact on his drives is SO much stronger than previous. He might not be gaining a lot of weight, but dude is getting stronger and learning to absorb contact and keep moving thru contact. He ain't shy, nor afraid!

  • Sandwiched in between Mitchell carrying the offensive burden and Strus’s three-pointer, De’Andre Hunter had some really good offensive minutes that bridged the offensive gap without Mitchell on the floor. 8 of his 14 points on the night came in the second quarter including all 8 of them coming in a span of about five minutes.
  • All three of Hunter’s field goals came within the paint area, and two of them were unassisted. While Hunter was brought up to stretch the defense with his perimeter shot making, he’s also shown the ability to be a shot maker off the dribble too. His two pull-up shots show a player much more capable of doing more offensively than just standing in the corner.
