2024-25 Season | Game #66 | Cavs @ Grizzlies | March 14, 2025

This team is incredible. A continuous joy to watch. Closing in on 60 wins on our best streak of the season.

Fun bonus: check out Kenny trying desperately not to call our "garbage time unit" our "garbage time unit."

  • Part of the Cavs quick strike attack was emboldened by Mobley three-pointers – three of them to be attack. Seeing Mobley hit back-to-back-to-back attempts in consecutive possessions is something Cavs fans could only dream about a year ago. Now, it’s who Mobley has become.
  • That three-point threat has residual impacts in more ways than one. Grizzlies starting center Zach Edey played just under 11 minutes – he averages nearly 21 minutes per game. Edey was too big, too slow, to handle pick-and-roll coverages with the Cavs nimble bigs and too much of a liability when the Cavs went to Mobley at the five.
  • The Mobley three-ball has also opened more Isaac Okoro as roll man when they share the court with Jarrett Allen. Okoro has been better on the move than as just a spot-up player and Kenny has tried to utilize that more with him as the roll man making the decision between kick out or drive.
  • It happened on subsequent possessions where Okoro was able score on a drive and find Mobley later for a spot-up three.

The Cavs/Grizzlies youtube highlights are 80% Grizzlies highlights lmao. Cavs were at like 30 points and had 3 highlights.

Ja Ja Ja Ja Ja. They had the STAR!!!!!!

We just play great basketball and win.

They can have their star. I’ll take 56-10.

Tom Brady had a fantastic Super Bowl 52 with 505 yards passing. Nobody cares; he lost to Big Dick Nick.

I watched that earlier... if I didn't know the score, I would've thought Memphis blew us out... very strange to watch Ja draining these tough buckets while their deficit seems to balloon between each clip on the score marquee in the video.

Then they include DG's clanked 3s for no apparent reason. Wtf?

So when LeBron was first here we had the best record in the NBA with 66 and 61 wins in 2009 and 2010 and got stopped by Orlando and Boston.
Then when LeBron came back we had the best team in the East and dominated making 4 NBA finals but only 1 championship because you had GS who was great and added KD after we split 1-1 (we could maybe won both had Kyrie/Love not got hurt)
Now we have the best record you have a great Boston team in the way to just get to the finals and possibly a great OKC team waiting for you.

Always something in the way
