2024-25 Season | Game #72 | Cavs @ Trailblazers | March 25, 2025 | 10:00 p.m.

Home to the Spurs, @ the Pistons, home to the Clips. We’d better be getting it together. JB’s got the Pistons 9 games over .500.

Cavs win the 4th quarter, as I requested, and the 2nd half--but not by 8. So what? It's a W.

Bench points, starters points, but mostly our points in the paint killed them.

Mobley’s playmaking ability was on display tonight. Hard to believe he only had 4 assists. Chris Webber-esque

I'm looking ahead with interest to our two games against the Pacers, who have a good shot at being our second round opponent.

Two games in these final ten with the Knicks as well but they're not going to be in our bracket so beyond our overall record and maintaining the 1 seed, I really DGAF about the games against the Knicks

Those are 4 tough games, when we are trying to stay ahead of Boston.

Very impressive win in a game that was close all the way. Thybulle came off the bench to hit 5-for-6 on 3's to keep them in it. That and an incredible 19 offensive rebounds plus several more missed shots that the Cavs fumbled out of bounds. The Blazers ended up with 101 field goal attempts to the Cavs' 88, but the Cavs outshot them 54.5% to 39.6%.

Mobley had a great game with 21 points, 12 boards, 4 assists, ands 4 blocks. I wish he would quit dribbling so much, however; it's a turnover begging to happen.

Garland was awesome with a line of 27/5/8. He continues to get rebounds; this is his 5th straight game with a least five. Jerome was amazing with 25 points on 15 shots as he continues to find ways to get the ball in the bucket, any which way he can. Allen was fairly quiet but had a big sequence at the end where he ripped the ball away from Avdija and then got an offensive rebound that led to a Garland 3 that pretty much sealed it.

Surprised to see Okoro in at the end when the game was decided in place of Hunter. I wonder what Kenny was thinking. It worked, though. Isaac was a +7 in 17 minutes.

Merrill was 5-for-7 on 3's but one was negated by an offensive foul on Allen.

Great way to end the trip.
