2024 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Three of them pick sixes, holy shit :chuckle:

Historic performance, sad I missed it lol

Buckeye haters will have to find something else to troll them on. As Denny said, “he is who we thought he is.”

Just not winning the big games

Just absolutely incredible how different the conversation is if a couple balls bounce differently (both literally and figuratively).

I want to say the wins are coming but idk.

There's definitely been some bad luck involved in the Clemson/Georgia/Oregon losses, in addition to some bullshit calls, however Day himself has hurt the team in key moments in each of those games as well.

Like, things shouldn't have to be perfect to win a big game...

Oh my god LMAO.

@I'mWithDan what are yall doing? Why not just Wing-T it with Orji? That was the best your team has looked all season...I don't get it.

I honestly wonder if this is just a smokescreen for Sparty and they fully intend to roll with Orji. Because otherwise this just doesn't make sense at all. The goal at this point should be trying to squeeze every possible win out of this team...trying to develop a passing game in November with Make-A-Wish kids at QB is just not gonna happen :chuckle:

My guys got curbed-stomped by Notre Dame today....

I knew we were screwed when they opened the show by saying how the Navy QB had hurt the thumb on his throwing hand the week before, and showing it heavily taped. Couldn't throw, multiple fumbles, and there's just no avoiding any of that when you run the triple option because the QB is everything.

Oh well....

Michigan quarterback Jack Tuttle announced Monday that he is medically retiring from football.

He's a 7th year senior. Hope he's got his degree by now...gotta come thru this with more than scars and memories.

Woah, they did a good job keeping that under wraps.

There was some talk post Washington, that seemed cryptic at the time but wasn't really expanded on.

To the effect of "I hope he is healthy and what we saw out of his arm wasn't just the adrenaline of convincing the coaches to give him a series".

It appears Tuttle flushed whatever reserve he had in that surgically repaired arm, trying to inspire them to a road win at Washington.

Just one of those players that was talented but perpetually injured every year.

This is why locking conference champs into the top 4 seeds was such a terrible decision...

That tweet doesn't even mention the possibility of getting the 5 seed while missing your conference championship game, effectively still getting a bye anyways...

Nah that's crazy talk. You'd always take the bye over having to play an extra game against a good team.

I'd EASILY rather be Oregon with a bye looking to play either Tenn or ND than have to play Boise and then play BYU in this scenario.

Just remember, Boise has 1 loss too. To the same Oregon team @Oregon by 4 points.

Anything can happen against a good team in a 1 and done scenario.
