Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Guys I watch when it happen Watson pull up rounding 3B , barely made it home, look like a bad pull hammy, no idea what happened to the Lynchburg kid….

With Manzardo and Kayfus in the system too, I could see them dealing Velasquez since he's not really catching anymore.

Kahlil is a good prospect so I can see why a team might be interested in him.

Throw in a good SP prospect and that's a pretty damn good package.

Put Straw in there and there isn't a ML pitcher that can't be had. Wink wink.
Watson as I think Damage pointed out is playing very well lately, today being no exception.

Something like Velazquez, Watson, (a rostered AAA guy - Manzardo, Tena, Valera, JRod) Peterson or Clemmey or Messick or Tugboat, Boyd. Is Crochet territory no doubt.

Well way to kick us square in the bag Cliff. Hope it isn't too serious for the kid.

Thanks for the update before I really started going off. Hope he's ok.

Anyone know Welbyn Francisca’s current size? Everything listed says 5’8 148, I assume that was his size when he was like 16 or sumthin.

And Velazquez...

Ralphy, Kahlil, Boyd (all not rostered) plus Manzardo or another Columbus guy and/or a SP prospect? That's a package.

Edit. Act now and we'll throw in Straw!

I assume we figured it out to be co-incidence, even though Boyd isn't in LC lineup today. All Columbus regulars (Tena, Man, Brito, Rod and Brennan) are in line-ups along with Straw (sh!t).

In watching LC today, the announcers were saying Maltrud is starting to hit up to 93 consistently. But, when they were talking about it, he had a 91 mph FB...

Unfortunately (but part of a pattern), Valera hasn't played in a week.

What kind of prospect is Nikhazy?

One who's value is piquing right now.. His fastball is about a foot and a half short..but his two breaking pitches are major league quality.. BOR SP is his ceiling.. One thing that cannot be taught..is being left handed.. That alone keeps him in baseball..

If someone came along and offered anything of value.. trade him.. imho...

Coming on strong. I hated the pick (too many walks, not enough heat) but he has still managed to get people out with a 91-94 mph fastball and quality breaking pitches... Now he's giving up less walks, and hits... He's averaging roughly 3 less walks per nine than previous years (6.95, 6.45 and now 3.64) and about 2.5 hits less per nine compared to last year. His BABIP is really low though at .221.

He's still a mystery box, but think he will play in the majors in some role. Might be one of those guys that really show up in the majors... Maybe the next Scott Barlow, if he doesn't stick in the rotation?

Today's line: 76 pitches 53 strikes. Both hits were singles.
