Already wasted 2 years with a QB who obviously isn’t good enough, don’t waste a 3rd

My thing with the Jets is that their perception of overall talent is inflated... whether that's accurate I can't say.

To me they've always been more hyped up than their performance has ever merited. Or Perhaps that's the simply NY Media Market alongside ESPiN & the inherent draw of audience interest with Discount Double Check at quarterback.

Stated a different way, "The Jets is The Jets"
 
Mike Tomlin deserves a shitload of credit for going to Wilson when he did.

There was nothing but heat for making that move, but he's been rewarded for it. Downfield passing game is entirely different with Wilson back there over Fields.

That franchise knows stability far more than most!

That's a massive facet of why they simply never have a losing season.

They diversified and took two shots at finding a workable QB to pair with an always stout defense and STs. Both darts hit, had long figured Fields would look better amidst Non-Bears teammates.

As you stated Mike T. was brave to hop over to Russ & let him cook, however, he had seen the baseline for Justin Fields and could fall back on such if things got hairy.
