2025 Cotton Bowl | #8 Ohio State vs. #5 Texas | January 10th, 2025 @ 7:30 PM

So true.

Very reminiscent of the absolutely insane Curtis Samuel run right before the famous JT Barrett 4th and 1 conversion against Michigan in 2016.

It’s funny because at the moment I was annoyed… like if that’s the play call why not put Innis in that spot over Gee since he’s a bigger threat to break it. Turned out alright. Go Bucks!

So does ND have the horses to erase our downfield game like Texas did?

Not really. The thing that worries me is Freeman/Leonard have a Tressel/Krenzel thing going. And Love is a threat to house one at anytime. Solid TE, not strong at WR.

They also are dealing with a lot of injuries in the trenches on both sides during the CFP.

Smith isn’t going to have another 1 catch, 3 yard game. As long as something fluky doesn’t happen like Howard getting knocked out early in the game or Graham/Grant show up in ND uniforms it’s hard to find a path where OSU doesn’t win.

It’s not even possible for a qb to choke harder than this
It is. And it’s happened.

We already had the lead. They had an opportunity to to tie it. We had an opportunity to stop them.

There are QBs who’s teams have been up 7 or even double digits who have made boneheaded plays that swung their team for a lead to a loss.

Jack made that play. It wasn’t like Ewers threw a duck or dropped the ball on the ground himself.

Regional backwater conference

Just as they were before a trio of Northern Woody Tree coaches( Saban. Urban, Miles) lended them some semblance of relevance for a couple decades

The coast to coast, primetime National Conference is the B1G
Life comes at ya fast when everyone else is also able to pay players...

Notre Dame has worried me for a few weeks now. They've got that Michigan-ball vibe going on.

They can just tough it out, their QB isn't great but he'll make some random, game changing plays to keep a drive alive and then they're comfortable just playing a slow, ball control style of game.

Rich.

You literally worry about everything man. The first time you aren’t worried or negative will throw this forum into a major level of concern.

I think Ohio State should be worried about Notre Dame since they are the only team left to play to win the championship.

It helps that ND has been hit hard by injuries. They also do not have the explosive play makers we do. I do not want another rock fight but at least we showed we can manage to win one of those.
