Hey, if fans want to get ahead of themselves and discuss what our chances are in the ECF or in the Finals...so what? What is the harm? I think there's sometimes this weird transposition where whatever fans think is somehow imputed to the team, and if the fans don't have the right competitive mindset, then the team won't either.
Whether or not RCF discusses our chances against OKC has nothing to do with how far the Cavs will go in the playoffs

I find that I'm happier not thinking about what the finals will be like until we get to the finals. Too much disappointment after the 2009 and the 2010 seasons thinking that the finals were inevitable.

They need to think ship this year imo. And there's nothing stopping them from doing it except themselves. If everyone plays their best, no team is beating us in a 7-game series.
It's very rare for a team (and especially this Cavs team) to go into the post-season with a healthy 1-8 rotation: DG, Don, Strus, Mobley, JA, Jerome, Hunter, and Wade will all be ready to go.
DG, JA, Wade, and Hunter all have injury histories that will likely hit us next season at the wrong time.

I think this is the biggest what if in the league, healthy clippers are dangerous and can beat anybody on 7 games

I'm pulling hard for Orlando. They're the only team in that grouping I'd prefer not to see as our first round opponent.
