2025 Season | Series #11 | Guardians @ Nationals | May 5-7, 2025

Not much in Schneemann's profile has changed, except for one thing.

He is barreling up pitches 20% of the time. Last season it was 4.8%. 15% is considered elite.

Only two qualified batters managed 20% last year. Their names are Judge and Ohtani. Nobody did it in 2023.

I hope he keeps it up, because we won't be talking about Casey Blake. We will be talking about trading him before he becomes a $600 mil FA.

A couple of Criznit musings on Schneemann.

1. Drafted late and was the backup to all our priority MIF prospects early on.
2. Decent .740 OPS in 70 games in 2019, COVID casualty in 2020, like many didn’t play. In 2021 had a .722 OPS in 51 games. An injury cut his season short.
3. In 2022 he sucked…. 114 games and a .570 OPS. They could’ve cut him in the offseason and no one would’ve complained.
4. 2023. He blossoms and really hasn’t looked back.

For whatever reasons they saw something they liked and it actually seems to be paying off.
Decimal points & numbers... Blah Blah Blah...
