Unless its a sac fly situation, Manzardo should avoid going opposite field.

He hits the ball in the air nearly 70% of the time, but almost everything to left is a routine fly ball. He has never hit a homer to left in his MLB career.
 
Herrin is having a decent year. In 20 appearances, he's only given up an earned run five times, including today.

I feel he has been a tad more lucky than good. Giving up walks at a higher rate than last year (still early, of course), low BABIP, yet WHIP is up. Just not as 'clean' as he was last year. Yet.

Until he's no longer Big K-Zone Columbus shall remain/become once more his launching pad.

Figured with them moving A-Mart to 2B & Jones in CF today they're foreshadowing potential moves for Thomas' return.

I really like Martinez getting as many ABs this season as humanly feasible.

Think he's a guy that can immensely buoy this franchise.

Still not impressed by him. Facing a team in a funk, with his pen short, and all he can do is go five, and is incapable of throwing up a shut-down inning to boot, giving up a tying blast to a guy with a .363 slug. This is a game where a pitcher with his talent should be able to do more in order to hammer a series shut, but again, his lack of concentration is his undoing.
