I don't understand this. Yes, he was not good today, but neither was 99% of the team. Right now they suck.

This team has one player that has been more clutch than Jose. Take a guess who that might be.

Well, it doesn't get any stupider than that. Matt and Rick are paid to be positive and they are almost never even mildly critical of the Guardians but even they were stupified at the pitch selection to Benson. After Benson's second home run of the game and fourth of the series:

"What is going on here, I can't believe it. Talk about insanity. I don't think I've ever seen anything like that."

Me, neither. In my game preview I asked if we could please not throw Benson any more sliders in the middle of the zone. Apparently the Guardians thought it was a good idea.

Yesterday they got him out three times with fastballs and he hit a home run on a slider. So today they throw him two more sliders middle-middle and down and in. If they're going to be stupid they deserve to lose.

Two more scoreless innings for Allard. Wow. Two earned runs in 17 innings.

Kayfus is carrying a .488 BABIP. Let's let him settle in a bit. People forget Will Brennan was tearing up AAA this year too. If you're any good at all, AAA isn't much of a mystery.
