No question Francisca has been on a tear.

Dude had 8HR over a 14 game period recently, and he was named Midwest League player of the week for this past first week of August (3-9).

For that specific 1st week of August 3-9, which was the week he just was recognized for…. His line consisted of:

(9-for-22)
.409 BA
.458 OB%
OPS 1.091
6 R
3 2B
4 HR
6 RBI

Another Recent 14 game stretch:

17-for-57
.298 AVG
.354 OBP
13 R

8 HR

OK, here goes.

Cleveland: Angel Genao (age 22)
Columbus: Milan Tolentino (24)
Akron: Dean Curley (22)
Rake County: Welbyn Francisca (20)
Hill City: Dauri Fernandez (19)

All are performing in the top 5% of minor leaguers this year relative to age and level except Francisca, who is well within the top 10% and coming on fast. Genao is in the top 1%.
 
Some really nice performances in the DSL this year, lots of names are performing at the plate with some good plate discipline as well.

Catcher Hiverson Lopez who received Cleveland’s highest signing bonus in 2025 (900K) has nine doubles, two triples and six homers in 38 games this year. Resulting in a very nice 1.015 OPS for the 18 year old.

Broussard seems to be a draft pick who hasn't been placed on a team. Did I miss something?

That's a great looking list. One catcher, one first baseman, two shortstops, three outfielders (two of which play CF), and three pitchers. Excellent balance, especially since shortstops and centerfielders are easy to move to other positions.

There are a number of other interesting prospects who didn't make it, including Halpin, Watson, and Aleman, who have already made their major league debuts. Nolan Schubart is hitting .338/1.078 in his first 71 AB's at Akron. Cesarini is hitting .369/1.148 in his first 65 AB's at Akron. Welbyn Francisca is killing it at Lake County.
 
Curley top 10 is a joke. Sell asap.

He'll also never be a ML SS, pretty much positionless
 
Ralphy, Ingle, Genao, Doughty, Cecares have to be in there. Who else? Where do we put Campbell, Stephen and the new Peterson?

Schubart, Hill and Herrera for me.

Campbell is top ten, Peterson is close but probably out and Stephen might not even be in my top 15.

Maybe I’ll do a more concise thing later.
