2026 NFL Offseason

More cuts out of Miami today. Anyone worth picking up?
Hours after the Chubb news, Pelissero reported that Miami was set to release several more players -- wide receiver Tyreek Hill, wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and guard James Daniels -- which, along with Chubb, will clear over $56 million in 2026 cap space. The team has since announced the release of Hill, Westbrook-Ikhine and Daniels.

Well that's not surprising.

edit- what is surprising is this...

I also missed they hired Kliff Kingsbury?

So they have Scheelhaase as OC but Dave Ragone is the Co-OC and QB Coach, along with Kliff Kingsbury a former head coach and prominent OC on the staff. Yet none of these guys will call the plays, the head coach will call the offensive plays. There is a lot of cooks in that kitchen!

Co-titles so they can't be poached as easily in the next hiring cycle?

You're an offensive coordinator, and you're an offensive coordinator, and you're a co-offensive coordinator!

Nah. When have the Rams ever held someone back? They're about helping people grow--not about holding them back.

Both Ragone and Scheelhaase have earned it. It's a sign of respect.
