2026 NFL Offseason

Nothing in here about Sexy Dexy, Dexter Lawrence, requesting a trade from the Giants. Coming off of a terrible year, he's previously been one of the best and is now 28.
I found an ESPN article titled "they can't afford to trade him" and I thought it would have cool cap implications, like literally they cannot trade him, but instead it was about how they've sucked against the run. MISINFORMATION, *but* check out this wordsmith, this cunning linguist John Harbaugh with an absolute banger lolololololololololol
"He's super, super important. He's a cornerstone football player -- not really a cornerstone, more like the middle stone," new Giants coach John Harbaugh said at the combine in March. "He's right in the middle. He's a very big stone, and he's a very active, athletic one."

Harbaugh is... off to a rough start, no? He thought he'd bring his whole staff including Monken and Warhop... no. His best defender on paper has demanded a trade. Now, there's certainly an argument that it'll be an MG situation where he just ends up getting more guaranteed money, but it's a pickle.
