Thats kind of a wild take given that Mobley saved MULTIPLE playoff games this year. He destroyed Det down the stretch.Mobley had his best playoff performance in the Celtics series when Mitchell was out. Garland had less turnovers per game than Harden and more assists per game than Mitchell.
That's with his numbers in the Pacers series included and he had no business playing in it. If the Cavs had the same Garland from the Heat series, who knows how it plays out.
I love Garland, but he isnt close to the same stratosphere of a playmaker as harden. Look at their passing packages. DG was great at the floater lob and the lay down but solid everywhere else. Harden has upper tier vision with kickouts, lay downs, skip passes, lobs, and interior dump offs. Its frankly insulting to compare them on this.
Harden gets guys the ball in a position to make a move and score. DG got guys in a position to finish only. I dont want to rag on one of my favorite Cavs but the comp is ridiculous
