Twins new unis

I love those actually. Well done Twins.

The M cap gives me too much of the Marlin's M logo design stripped down. The numbers on the home whites annoy me for some reason compared to the more block away/alternate numbers. I like the thin red/white/blue striping down the pants.
I agree the M hat looks very close to the Marlins M

My immediate thought was that the image was posted to show that they forgot to change the hat one of the players was wearing from Miami to Minnesota.

Then I looked down and realized that was Arraez and he never played for Miami.

SMH move by Phillies

The Phillies have agreed to a three-year contract extension with president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski, reports Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philadelphia (Twitter links). He was already signed through 2024, meaning Dombrowski will now run baseball operations in Philadelphia through the 2027 season. The team announced the extension shortly after Salisbury’s report.

I wonder if Milwaukee's going to continue to shed salary after this. Lopped off $11M or so in one fell swoop right there.

I know why Milwaukee did this, but I don't think I would have done this if I was the Angels...

Cleveland by the way... Could have easily outbid the Angels if you use MLB.com prospect rankings since Junk would have been ranked near Nikhazy (#25) in the Cleveland farm. I guess Renfroe never ended up being a target for Cleveland...

It wasn't just salary for the Brewers; they needed a little depth in their AAA pitching ranks. And, Angels are really desperate just to improve their team, in any ways possible, to keep Ohtani and don't have much to do it with. Yet, it was just a mehh... move.

From the Brewers side.. they save about $ 11 MM while getting three minor league arms...none of whom would be much more than RP candidates for the Guardians..

From the Angels side.. trying to sell the team while one of their top three stars, their most marketable international star is claiming "...this team has no idea how to operate a winning organization... I'm outta here as soon as I can..." is a bad visual.. Seems desperate..

No disagreement with your post...

I find it curious that ANY organization looking for pitching of some sort (like MKE) would look to get it from the Angels, a club constantly in search of pitching upgrades..

Perhaps this is part 1 of a process where LA moves Hunter R for something else & MKE makes other moves involving its current MLB pitchers or depth guys..
