I'm stunned people wouldn't want a guy like Peppers because he went to Michigan
Here's a guy who's an insane athlete, has a competitor's attitude and people are throwing a fits because he went to a rival school
Worst part? A lot of these people seem like they've never been to college, let alone OSU.

Just curious but has a single person expressed this notion? because it sounds ludicrous to me as well. I'm an Ohio State graduate that bleeds scarlet and gray and if Peppers is good in the NFL I will buy his jersey and frame it on my fucking wall.

One person burned their Browns gear over it. Another decided to become a Steelers fan due to it. I need to find the tweets but they were fan from the only ones.

Same here. Hated Jabrill on 11/26/16 but throughout this entire draft process, I thought he might be a good fit for us. I love what he's going to bring to this team.
He's passionate, a defensive leader, and seems eager to get started.
We may be Buckeye fans, but we are Browns fans, too. If a Browns player is getting it done for this team, I don't give two shits where he went to school.

A cousin of mine passed the Ohio bar, went to Ohio State, but I can't even break through to his educated mind about Peppers. Oh well, that's why they play the games. If Peppers is as good as I think he could be, I'm expecting apologies and holiday fruit baskets bypass December.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some 4-4 lineups in Wiliams nickle scheme variations.
Williams basically runs his own custom version of the paul roman Defense.
One things is for sure the entire defense is now athletic and and aggressive.
All the defensive guys drafted had a propensity to freelance and ave great ball instincts.
Jabril can be moved all over the place and is versatility may be used to help disguise coverages.
Also the Browns can blitz from anywhere.

Outside linebackers[edit]
As there are two inside linebackers, there are also two outside linebackers. These outside backers can be described generically as the Sam and Will positions. The Sam linebacker typically sticks to the strong side, often outside the strong side defensive end, and has substantial pass coverage responsibilities.[11] The Will position will generally play on the weak side. However, the Will can be moved to just about anywhere to better suit the defensive call or adjustment.[2] Depending on the call and the personnel in place, Will’s job could be purely to get after the quarterback, play at linebacker depth, or to drop into coverage.
The nature of the defense requires a great deal of athleticism from these positions. Roman describes the Sam as the most difficult linebacking position to fill in his defense, and describes the Will as a strong safety type. In the defenses of Virginia Tech, Sam is compared to a cornerback, and Will to a free safety, in terms of the personnel types preferred for this role.[2]

Stories about his attitude and work ethic were common at UM. Harbaugh said he's never seen a player with his talent, who loves to work as much as he does. He would tell stories about how Peppers would cut the line in tackling drills so he could get more reps.
Jourdan Lewis also told a story about Peppers chasing a guy down at practice from 20+ yards behind. He said everyone just looked around and shook their head because Peppers is just so competitive, he couldn't even let the guy score in practice.
Peppers is a football junkie. He has that burning desire to be great. Doesn't mean he will but he has the internal fire you wish every man on your roster did.
