Browns TE David Njoku hopes to face Ravens despite suffering burns in household accident Friday night: ‘See u tomorrow DawgPound’

Browns tight end David Njoku was added to the Browns injury report Saturday after suffering burns in a household accident.

Browns tight David Njoku was added to the injury report as questionable with burns suffered on his face and arm when he lit a firepit in his yard on Friday night. Njoku wasn’t taken to the hospital, but was checked out by Browns doctors.​

His agent, Malki Kawa, posted on X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday that Njoku will be fine, and a source said he’ll try to play Sunday.​

​

“Thank you everyone for reaching out, but David Njoku is ok, thank God,” Kawa wrote.​

​

Njoku also later indicted on X that he’ll try to go. “The flesh is weak,” he posted.​

That explains a lot, to be honest. Turns out his cranium was full of flesh the entire time.
