Being real for a second:

Dude is a beast in the redzone. He knows how to use his big body to shield the ball and his jumping ability is unmatched. He is the Pryor replacement in the redzone.

His route running ability is not good right now. Hes really sloppy running routes, almost looks borderline lazy doing it.

His blocking is okay, he doesnt really drive, just kind of pivots.

Super Raw, but he is able the catch and run really well. He is impossible to tackle on the first try, too. Exciting, but needs time to develope.

This guy is going to be a stud. His highlights are all incredible plays and he's one of the youngest guys in the draft.

I keep trying to think of who he reminds me of. Vernon Davis?

He's fast and this guy is insane after the catch, which is super exciting. He's going to be an absolute match up nightmare for the opposition.

Kellen Winslow BEFORE he tore up his legs in the motorcycle accident. After that, he was more of a possession guy. Before that, explosive.

From a physical perspective, he reminds me of Keyshawn Johnson. Big, strong guy with deceptive athleticism. The nice thing is that he looks like he could easily be a WR if his blocking isn't up to snuff. I am pretty excited about this guy's potential.

It's pretty tough to project him as a player without seeing some shots of him from high school. Topless obviously.

It's so hard to project Njoku because he is still emerging. He didn't have tight end size three years ago, he was a tall nationally ranked high jumper recruited to play receiver. He is still figuring out everything he can do now that he has filled out. If he figures out how to be a plus blocker, he could be every bit as good as OJ Howard, perhaps even more lethal as a passing game weapon.

Right now, where does he rank among NFL tight ends? Top 10?

ill be optimistic if his rookie season is comparable to Richard Jefferson's. If he can pull that off, you have to like where you are with him.
