#29: TE, David Njoku, Miami

Fox’s film room: Don’t freak out, but David Njoku really is special
by Dustin Fox, 3 hours ago.....

In the end, I believe that Njoku has the chance to become one of the better tight ends in this league.

Wow. A "chance to become one of the better tight ends in the league." I mean, ol' Dustin is really going out on a limb with that bold prediction, huh? He's "really special", and has got a chance to be above-average!

He has an outside shot of being as good as Charles Clay!

Njoku had a few nice plays yesterday. Some great catches for a guy whose questions marks including being able to catch the ball.

Not a great start to his second season. Tough time catching balls (still) and he's not much of a blocker. If he can't get comfortable making plays, he doesn't offer much to the team overall.

Make no mistake, I'm rooting for David. He's got to get things clicking, though.

I am going to blame it on the rain. He gets a mulligan.

I agree with Nate, but he did have one bad drop I can remember.

I mean, I didn't post that. Also, wrong thread. This one is about Browns TE David Njoku.

It's commentary of your double standard.

You give Njoku a mulligan and blame the rain when you agree with Nate; however, you build your self-fulfilling prophecy about Peppers being an entitled bust with how you perceive the look on his face. It's laughable.

Dude you are a Jabrill shill. Guy has to play better, bottom line. Not for this thread though.

Njoku had a bad drop in a Tropical Storm. Peppers fair caught a ball with 20 yards of green. Been happening for over a year now.

You can call it whatever you want. I'm putting the logic you use to demean Jabrill to the test. It's terrible.

You call plays that stood and weren't overturned as "fumbles", you have to be reminded of plays the guy makes while boasting about anything he does that is something you could critique, and think the guy's facial expressions make him seem "entitled". It's one of the more obvious examples of the anti-Michigan rhetoric I've ever seen on a board not designated to the Buckeyes. And I'm a Buckeye fan myself. I'm just tired of letting this trash logic be absorbed by other posters without being called-out. I mean, were Njoku and Peppers playing in different conditions? That's the only reason I could see someone forgiving a dropped pass, but not a ball that slipped when the guy was falling out of bounds.

You can hold any opinions you want, but it doesn't make them legitimate.
